How it works

What you get at the table

01

A private Slack

Ask what you’re stuck on, share what you’re building, and answer what you know.
02

Sessions

Panels, live builds and Q&As with founders who have done it. Members hear about them first.
03

Tools and discounts

The tool map, free GTM kits, and member-only discounts on tools founders use.

For you if

  • You’re building a company on your own.
  • You’ve started: a product, a prototype or first users.
  • You’ll answer questions as well as ask them.

Not for you if

  • You want a course or a coach.
  • You’re here to sell to members.
  • You’re not building yet. The letter is a better start.

Questions

Before you apply

Table for One is a free community for solo founders, run by me, Durva Mathure. Members get a private Slack, sessions and member discounts on tools.

It’s for founders building a company on their own who have already started: a product, a prototype or first users. It isn’t a course or a coach, and it isn’t a place to sell to members.

Membership is free. Some sessions are free and some are paid, and each one says which on its page. See the sessions →

You apply with a two-minute form, then we have a 25-minute call. The call is so I can understand whether you’re a fit for the group and the group is a fit for you.

The tool map and the GTM kits are free for everyone. The tool map covers 373 tools for one-person companies, sorted by the job. Open the tool map →

Start with the letter, my notes from building alone, on Substack. You can also ask a question and get an answer from what I’ve written. Ask the Table →
